At Ott Brother’s Painting, our team takes pride in every home painting project in Elmer, NJ we undertake, and a recent new home transformation stands as a testament to our dedication. This particular project involved a variety of detailed painting & staining work, ensuring the new homeowners could truly make the space their own.
Our team began with the built-in cabinets. Recognizing their importance as a focal point, we sanded them down and applied a binding primer. This crucial step ensured optimal adhesion for the three coats of Sherwin Williams Iron Ore in a sophisticated satin finish that followed.
The mantle received equally careful attention, it was first stained, then a coat of sand color and sealant was applied to lock in the rich color and detailing. After a thorough sanding to achieve a perfectly smooth touch, we applied two coats of satin finish coat varnish, providing both beauty and durability.
For the exposed beams, the homeowners selected Minwax’s Special Walnut. We expertly applied the stain, enhancing the natural wood grain and adding a warm, rustic charm to the home’s interior.
The walls throughout the house were prepped with primer, then sanded down to create a flawless canvas. We then applied two finish coats of a custom color in SuperPaint satin, delivering a luxurious and consistent appearance.
Attention to detail extended to all the trim. All casing and baseboard received new caulk and putty where needed, followed by sanding. Two coats of Pure White SuperPaint in a semigloss finish were then applied for a crisp, clean look. Finally, the doors were treated with a custom color, Accessible Beige, in SuperPaint semigloss, providing a welcoming and cohesive feel to this beautifully finished home painting project in Elmer, NJ.
